A Quick Catch Up

Here is a quick catch up with what's been happening in Faye's world since I've been away:

Faye began rehearsals for her new role as Liesl Von Trapp in the 'Sound of Music' on June 17th.

June 16th
Early start tomorrow... This lady needs her Beauty sleep 💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤

Personally, I think if there is one person who really doesn't need her Beauty sleep it's Faye.

June 18th
I'm pooped and its only day 2 ...

They're clearly working them hard in rehearsals. Maybe a bit more skipping needed?

Love the fact that my job requires me to have a guitar lesson.... Hehe!

I set sail - join the queue of traffic heading south on the M5 - for 10 days in Cornwall today but I thought I'd quickly post our next 'Querstion For Faye' before I leave.

I actually love pure films that were originally plays, such as 'Closer', but I'm also a girl who's a sucker for the Rom Coms.


I'll say this very quietly, I ENJOY A GOOD ROM COM TOO.

As you my have noticed from her tweets Faye has returned from her holiday and is currently whipping herself into shape ahead of 'The Sounds of Music' rehearsals which probably start in about 3 weeks time.

Who are your idols?

Faye's Answer
Judy Garland is my 'classic' idol. Kristen Chenoworth would be my modern day LEGEND.


In years to come when young performers are asked about their idols they could well be saying Faye Brookes.

I know she inspires me. . . . . Now all I need is some talent : -)

Legally Blonde - Legally Blonde Remix

With all the excitement of 'Atlantis' and 'The Sound of Music' I almost forgot we still have a couple of Legally Blonde tour audios and a few more 'Questions For Faye' to post.

They should fill the gap between now and opening night in Regents Park quite nicely.

Faye should be back from her holiday now - hopefully she had a lovely break in the sun - and it looks like she brought the weather back with her. She'll no doubt be hoping it continues all summer with daily outdoor performances between July 25th and September 7th.
