Love is in the Air in Weatherfield!

It looks like we don't have long to wait until we get to meet Kate's fiancee Caz, as according to the report below from todays Sunday Express she's due to arrive in Weatherfield on Monday 16th November.

It's a lovely Birthday surprise for Kate, arranged by her brother Aiden and Carla.

I've seen Faye play nine very different roles over the past five years in TV and theatre and she's been sensational in each and every one, so I'm not at all surprised at just how amazing she's been in Corrie.

She is such a talented actress, switching seamlessly from stage to screen.

I'm really looking forward to this storyline with Caz. I have a feeling it's going to be one of the most exciting relationships we've had on Corrie in years.

Kate is thrilled as Caz pays her a surprise birthday visit

CORONATION STREET fans will see Kate Connor's (Faye Brookes) fiancee Zac (Rhea Bailey) pay Weatherfield a visit next week.

As a birthday surprise, Aidan and Carla arrange for Caz - who is a soldier - to visit her other half and Kate's absolutely thrilled as her taxi pulls up outside.

During Caz's visit, the lovebirds will also make plans to set a date for their wedding.

The scenes - which are set to air during Monday November 16th's episode - come after it was announced back in September that actress Rhea had joined the Coronation Street cast.

The star - who played PC Mel Ryder in The Bill from 2008 to 2010 - has spent the last four years living in Los Angeles.

She recently said of her return to the UK: "Too much sun isn’t good for ya.

"Really excited to be swapping my surfboard for a brolly, and joining the cast on the nation’s favorite show!"

Kate and Caz's big day will be the first ever gay Coronation Street wedding and Rhea also admitted in a recent interview that she can't wait to create history.

She explained: "Caz and Kate's relationship has been a whirlwind, and they're apart a lot due to Caz's job, but they're totally in love and want to get married."
