Faye, who plays Kate Connor in Corrie, was proud to revisit the theatre where she once worked as an usher and where she starred as Princess Fiona in Shrek the musical in 2014.
This time the Urmston actress is here to support her singer boyfriend Gareth Gates as he stars as Willard in the hit 80s musical Footloose.
Gareth, who shot to fame in the singing show Pop Idol in 2002, is in the very same dressing room that Faye had for her role as Princess Fiona.
She said: “My first ever job was here. I feel like I have come 360 degrees.
“Our families and the Corrie crew are here tonight to watch the show.
“I remember decorating this dressing room when I was Princess Fiona.”
Gareth, who previously performed at the Palace as Marius in Les Miserables, is keeping in great shape for his role as Willard in the musical about a rebellion against a dancing ban in rural America.
On his dressing room rider is a stock of healthy porridge, bananas for energy and honey to keep those vocal cords in tip top condition for eight shows a week.
He said: “Footloose is a great family show and it’s great to be here in Manchester.”
